Reflection

Thesis was truly a culmination of the past five years of my architectural engineering education. I proved all the knowledge and skills I've absorbed not only to my professors and peers, but also to myself. It was overwhelming at times and there were points where I contemplated if it would actually get finished, but in the end it always does. I am happy to have gone through this experience and proud of the final result. I believe the dedication and drive required to complete such a project prepares students for the real-world construction industry.

As I look back on this program I think more so of the people I've met than anything else. Going through the same struggles brings classmates closer together, and of the academic struggles over the past five years thesis has definitely been the greatest. I am proud to be a product of this program, but more so of the friendships I have developed through it. The industry has a lot of talented individuals about to enter it.

Proud to be a Penn Stater and a Penn State AE.
